We are looking ahead to the proposed Local Government elections next spring (May 2027). These elections will see Councillors chosen to represent Wards in the Mid Norfolk Constituency for a term of at least four years.
Acting and standing up for your local area is extremely satisfying: new skills are learnt, new friendships made and as a local Councillor you can make a real difference to your local community.
Frustratingly, there is still some ambiguity about the shape of the new body, thanks to Labour's changing devolution plans, but we need to get ahead of the curve and get our candidates all ready to take on the opposition parties in the coming months.
