Claire Bowes is a passionate believer in democracy at all levels and says “I have been your representative at Breckland District Council for 12 years. I also represent Watton on Norfolk County Council. I voted Leave in 2016 and I share the exasperation felt by many at the seemingly deliberate attempts to frustrate Brexit in Parliament. The elections on May 2nd are local elections and whatever happens nationally, the strong foundations of community and democracy in Breckland and Norfolk must be upheld. With my local Conservative colleagues, I want to continue our work to invest in, improve on and deliver our District services for you. I have lived locally all my life and am proud to support a community where so many work tirelessly for the good of all. It is a privilege to be able to continue to represent Watton and it’s residents on Breckland Council.”
Tina Kiddell is proud to have served as Mayor of Watton and wishes to continue pushing Watton to a brighter, more pleasant future.
"Much of my 30-year career has been spent engaging with the public and since moving to Watton some time ago, that has held true. Having teenagers of my own and caring for my parents too, has given me a great understanding of the needs of different generations. My passion is to provide more facilities for all ages. I promise I will try my hardest to make Watton a better place for everyone, I believe strongly in our community and I will continue the work I have started for our town by fighting for our corner on Breckland Council."
