Paul Claussen & Ian Martin - your District Councillors for Mattishall Ward

Born in Norfolk, Paul Claussen has had the privilege of representing local people since 1999 as a Breckland District Councillor and as Chairman.  An extremely knowledgeable and experienced Councillor, currently serving on the Executive,  Paul is uniquely placed to work closely with Parish Councils, Officers, other Councils and MP’s, Police and Housing Associations. Most importantly Paul is keen to continue fighting for his local community to achieve results for you.  Over the years he has helped many local people with a wide variety of issues – as one Mattishall resident said “Thanks Paul, we knew you’d know what to do”
Ian Martin is Vice-Chairman of Yaxham Parish Council and Neighbourhood Plan Working Group. Ian lives in Yaxham, with his wife Susan and Labrador Luna, and runs his own environmental business. Ian has been a governor at the Yaxham Primary School, and has been involved in the Yaxham Woodland Group, the Jubilee Carnival, Community Led Plan, Macmillan Coffee Morning and Yaxham’s Neighbourhood Plan. Ian is very familiar with local issues and protecting our rural communities, big and small. Ian believes he has the experience, the enthusiasm and commitment to now represent the Mattishall Ward at Breckland Council.
